HAFTANIN ALTIN 11'İ !!!!!!!!!!!!
GOALKEEPER
Daniel Islas (Tigre)
Made a number of fine saves as Tigre put an end to Estudiantes' 15-match unbeaten record. Islas looked very secure throughout the match and if it weren't for his brilliance, they could have lost to an Estudiantes side that had no shortage of chances.
DEFENDERS
Carlos Araujo (Huracan)
The Huracan defence were woeful in the first half against Banfield, as they couldn't deal with the speed of Sebastian Fernandez and made a number of silly mistakes. But one player who always stood firm was Araujo, and if it weren't for his composure, Huracan would have conceded at least two more goals.
Fabian Cubero (Velez Sarsfield)
The captain led by example as his team picked up three vital points. He was very solid when marking, and as always his leadership skills helped his side stay motivated during a very tough match. A welcome return to form.
Julio Cesar Caceres (Boca Juniors)
The Paraguayan international was as solid as ever in the Boca defence and his aerial strength and tackling skills allowed his team to feel confident enough to focus on their attacking game. This is something Boca have lacked this season.
MIDFIELDERS
Daniel Montenegro (Independiente)
Montenegro was by far the player of the round, netting a superb hat-trick in Independiente's 3-1 win over Rosario Central. 'Rolfi' put on a sensational performance, and leads the scoring charts with 12 goals.
Mario Bolatti (Huracan)
Bolatti scored a screamer of a goal to draw Huracan level against Banfield before they won the match in the second half. The former FC Porto player was instrumental, as he always steered his team-mates forward.
Eduardo Salvio (Lanus)
Scored in Lanus' crucial victory over San Lorenzo that keeps them on course to win the championship. Salvio is a class act and once again his skill and determination proved pivotal. It is just a matter of time before he heads to one of Europe's top clubs.
Jonathan Cristaldo (Velez Sarsfield)
His header handed Velez a crucial victory that keeps them in the title race. Cristaldo has been in incredible form in recent weeks and he proved his worth against Gimnasia de Jujuy. He was a constant menace for the Gimnasia defence and could have scored a second goal.
FORWARDS
Martin Palermo (Boca Juniors)
'The Titan' scored twice in Boca's victory over San Martin. Palermo continues to be the most lethal striker in the country and despite being 35 years of age, he is always in the right place at the right time. At this rate, it won't be long before he becomes the highest goal-scorer in Boca's history.
Carlos Luna (Tigre)
Scored his tenth goal of the season in the win over Estudiantes. It was a brilliant strike as he capped off a fine attacking move with a classy finish. Luna never stopped working and could even have added to his tally. His consistency has attracted the attention of several top clubs.
Esteban Fuertes (Colon)
The veteran scored twice and missed a penalty in Colon's win over Godoy Cruz. He was always a danger in the area, and even helped out in the defence at times. With ten goals this season, he has shown that he still has plenty to offer.
